Scheduled Messages
Administrators can create an unlimited number of Scheduled Messages which can be sent out to the destinations. All Scheduled Messages will rotate their order based upon the oldest message. When a message is displayed, it will have the time and date saved. This message will not be used again until any other messages with an older time / date are output. If one only has two or three messages, then the messages will rotate quicker than a list with a dozen.
| Scheduled Messages are only sent out when
PADapult is in AUTO Mode. Pressing Scheduled Messages from the main PADapult screen will open the Scheduled Message setup screen. This screen has a delay value at the top to allow one to enter a value in seconds. PADapult will use this delay between the Scheduled Message and the Default Output Data string. A checkbox allows for one to have the Scheduled Message interleaved between the Default PAD Output Data string. When checked, PADapult will send the Output Data string first, then will wait the given Delay time, followed by a Scheduled Message. It will then wait the Delay and will send the PAD data again. The PAD data and Scheduled Message will rotate their output strings.

Creating a Scheduled Message
| Pressing
Scheduled Messages will open the Main Scheduled Messages screen. Pressing New
will open a screen allowing one to enter specific data into fields. These files
such as Title, Artist, Album, Genre and Comments relate directly to the corresponding
fields in HD Radios and other Program Associated Data displays. When entering a text string into the Title field, that string will be displayed in the Title field of the receiving unit. Administrators can set a Start Day and Time along with a Stop Day and Time. Messages will start at the Start Time on the Start Day, then will run 24-hours until they reach the Stop Time on the Stop day. Checking the Day Parted? checkbox will only allow Padapult to send this message out during the set times. You can also select a Day of the Week that allows for this cut to be limited by Day for which it can run. All messages that have been sent will have the time and date sent logged. This information is saved in the C:\DAD\PADapult\PADapult.MDB database file. This can be opened and viewed with Microsoft Access. The Message ID, Sponsor ID and Time / Date sent can be found in the AsSent table.
