Using The Column Editor

DAD allows the user to modify what Columns are seen in a Playback style machine and in the Library screens. This is done via the Column Editor.

To access the Column Editor press the ‘C’ button on the Title bar of the machine.

This will open the Column Editor.

If users have not set Columns then the deck might only display the CUT field. If this happens, click on the ‘C’ to open the Column Editor. Here one can press the FACTORY RESET button in the lower left corner to restore a pre-defined column configuration.

To manually change the columns one can select the desired field from the AVAILABLE FIELDS on the left side. Using the Arrows one can move this field to the ENABLED FIELDS on the right side. One can then move this field up or down in the list. The top item in the list will be the first column on the left in the Playback machine or Library screen.

To set the size of a field select the desired field in ENABLED FIELDS on the right then adjust the size in the screen area above. Once the size has been set one must click on column header to set column width. This means that AFTER the desired width has been set, one must click on the field header name in the size area. Once that has been done, the size will be set accordingly.

NOTE: All column settings are saved to the workstations registry. These settings are not user based but workstation based.
