Below are links enabling you to download and play MP3 encoded audio of actual live news broadcasts which were processed with enCaption. The corresponding text files are the unedited output from the enCaption system. This text stream would be routed to a closed caption encoder for embedding in the broadcast stream.

Simply open the text file then play the audio file (Windows Media Player or similar required). The audio files may take a few minutes to load based on your connection speed. File sizes are noted below. The text file presents the exact interpretation of the audio by enCaption to be broadcast as closed captions. In each case a tentative script was available from the newsroom system for inclusion in enCaption's reference dictionary.
