I've done some searching in the forums, but cannot find an answer there...

Can someone verify what different directory mapping is allowed in the dropbox setup? Clearly, standard drive mapping is allowed:

Directory = x:

But...

IP?

Directory = 192.168.1.5\import

UNC?

FTP?

Just wondering what the options are...

DropBox supports all SMB based directory specifications
C:
D:\import
F:\somefolder\import
\\192.168.1.5\import
\\enco-capture\import
Are all fine...

ftp is not an SMB protocol - so your ftp example is not supported.

192.168.1.5\import follows no protocol known to me - so it is also not supported.

I have setup a FTP script to download a file, unpack it into a folder, then using a UNC path dropbox processes the files. Works great!
