Hi there, i am currently streaming audio with windows media encoder and/or icecast! what i need is to send the currently playing track info to my audio stream displaying the current audio track!?

i know there is a app caled encore that can distibute certain info like the artist and albam info, please give me some pointers as in how i can get this done!

ENcore has no support for sending playing now data into an audio stream.   It simply takes XML output from an automation system - massages the data and creates HTML/ASP ready for web site usage.  See http://www.encoradio.com for an example of what ENcore can do.

Metadata sending/injections is the job of PADapult - which takes playing now data (via IP or serial or a file) from any automation system (including DAD of course), reformats that data using user configurable formats and can send it to up to 10 different configurable destinations.

Current output supports IP, UDP, HD exciters, ftp, http (twitter, friendfeed, shoutcast, custom), serial.

Media Encoder and Icecast have not yet been "built-in" to PADapult - as there have been no requests for it.  Sites under support contracts can provide the exact specifications of what's needed - or you can try using the existing supported outputs on your own.
