Live or Offline Captioning

The latest generation of enCaption also offers an offline file-based mode for automatically captioning pre-recorded content. Audio or Video files can be ingested into the system and immediately output to a number of different captioning file formats or sent out for optional human transcription.

enCaption is incredibly capable: It can control an external SDI CC embedder you may already have, or optionally embed captions itself into a looped-through video feed, all while saving simple text transcripts and sidecar files for later video editing or meeting minutes, while delivering HTML captions to Web browsers, digital signage, smart devices and CART displays -- and it can deliver Open Captions on top of looped through video feeds, too.

No Training Required, Improves Over Time

Out of the box, enCaption is incredibly accurate and fast. Add your special terminology, individual names and acronyms (via automated ingest and/or manually) and it gets even better. Further, it’s raw speech to text capability is augmented by its statistical analysis feature, dialing-in accuracy even further. You can even swap-in and out your custom lexicon based on the meeting -- Leadership, Field Operations, Threat Assessments, and so forth.

Broad A/V Media Compatibility & Security

Based on a PC architecture, your IT department will be quite familiar with how to secure enCaption. Further, this means you can interface with an incredible array of audio and video signals with enCaption (SDI, HDMI, IP video & audio (Dante, NDI, AES-67, Livewire, ST-2110, etc.), and for embedded CEA-608/708 captions, we can either control an existing SDI CC caption embedder you may have, or supply our own internal embedder module - it doesn’t get any easier than that. Additionally, all major enCaption operations can be automated or controlled remotely via its internal scheduling application or external RESTful API (with or without Website GUI).
