Television Automation

ClipFire offers broadcasters, cable television operators, and streaming media providers a comprehensive, reliable, and cost-effective platform for organizing, managing, and automating critical broadcast production and integrated channel playout tasks. ClipFire combines features including ingest, media asset management, graphics, live production, and playout automation within a unified, easy-to-use platform. ClipFire also integrates seamlessly with a growing range of third-party systems to form frictionless, end-to-end media workflows.

Format Agnostic for Flexibility

ClipFire supports the ingest and playout of an assortment of industry-standard file formats, resolutions, and frame rates and transcodes them on the fly to the desired output format. Furthermore, ClipFire supports a range of live inputs from SD/HD/3G-SDI sources, USB cameras, and network sources using the NDI protocol.

Client Spotlight: Island Luck

"We purchased ENCO ClipFire as a turnkey system. An ENCO representative came to our facility and performed the installation and on-site training. Migrating our existing content assets into the ClipFire library was remarkably straightforward – existing files were graphically dragged and dropped into the library from our centralized storage, and ClipFire was instantly able to play them to air. We were quickly impressed by its graphical interface, simplicity of operation, and rich feature set. It’s now fast and easy for us to create a schedule, get it on air, and just as important, it’s easy for us to graphically rearrange the schedule, adding or deleting entries on the fly. We fully transitioned after running ClipFire in parallel with our old system for just one day.

"Remarkably Straightforward."

Live Inputs and GFX

ClipFire isn’t just for playing out recorded video clips: it can manage live video inputs from cameras, routers, or a production switcher and seamlessly switch between the inputs and recorded content.

ClipFire is excellent for playing out recorded video clips, but it is also terrific for managing live video inputs from cameras, routers, or a production switcher. Seamlessly switch between inputs and your recorded content. Create switcher commands and add them to your playlist to completely automate your production.

MOS Newsroom Integration

ENCO’s MOS Interface seamlessly bridges television news production and playout operations. Plug-ins for AP ENPS, Avid® iNEWS® and Octopus Newsroom allow journalists and news producers to access ClipFire asset libraries directly within their familiar NRCS user interface, incorporating ClipFire elements including graphics, audio, and video into their scripts. Rundowns are automatically synchronized with the ClipFire system via the MOS protocol to play out the assets.
