Southfield, MI. March 3, 2012: ENCO Systems, Inc., world leader in audio playout and automation systems, announced today that their DAD (Digital Audio Delivery) system will support the Broadcast eXchange Format (BXF) standard as a means for sharing information with traffic and billing systems.

Since so many of those software companies are already BXF compliant, we thought it best to follow that development path.”
The BXF standard was developed by SMPTE members and vendor partners to allow separate systems within the same facility to communicate with one another. In this case, it would allow a station’s traffic and billing system to send data to and receive data from its DAD network. Things such as start and kill dates, inventory availability, new carts, schedule and as play data, etc. would be seamlessly shared between the two systems.
