ENCO MOM Media Operations Manager Wins Prestigious NewBay Media Best of Show Award

Southfield, MI, May 2nd, 2016 – ENCO is proud to announce that its new MOM (Media Operations Manager) video and audio automation system has been honored with a coveted Best of Show Award from NewBay Media, presented by TV Technology at the 2016 NAB Show in Las Vegas. Delivering simple, flexible and reliable automation for television operations, MOM offers broadcast TV stations, cable networks, and video streaming providers a comprehensive yet cost-effective platform to manage and automate a wide array of visual and audio content.

MOM (Media Operations Manager) is a complete automated playout system that brings automatic ingest, media asset management, graphics, and playout automation together into one platform. Leveraging the powerful engine, configurable front-end layout and ease of use of ENCO’s award-winning DAD radio automation, MOM enables a single operator to ingest, schedule, edit and playout media from the same system, unifying all media workflow operations within one workstation. This includes ENCO’s fourth-generation OnAir user interface to manage log changes, and enable manual playback and live insertion control as needed. Direct integration with production-oriented systems as well as traffic and billing software seamlessly links technical and business operations while streamlining workflows.

“We are thrilled with the tremendous response that our launch of MOM has received from customers and industry experts,” said Ken Frommert, general manager, ENCO. “We designed MOM to bring the feature-richness, superior user experience and software-defined flexibility of our proven audio solutions to video workflows, all while surpassing the capabilities of existing television automation systems. Recognition with NewBay Media’s Best of Show Award is a testament that we’re succeeding in delivering these benefits and more to television customers.”

NewBay Media’s Best of Show Awards are evaluated by a panel of engineers and industry experts, and are selected based on innovation, feature set, cost efficiency and performance.

“Recognition with an award at the NAB Show from NewBay Media’s Broadcast & Video Group is a strong vote of confidence and admiration from our leading industry publications,” said NewBay Media Broadcast & Video Group Vice President & Group Publisher Eric Trabb.
