Southfield, Michigan, September 18, 2008: ENCO Systems Inc., a leading worldwide provider of DigitalAudio Delivery Systems, announced that they received two Advancement in Radio Technology (ART)Awards from Radio magazine at a reception held at the NAB Radio Show in Austin, Texas. The ARTAwards recognize innovation in radio broadcast technology through products that have a practical use and are available now.
Nominated products were assigned to one of 13 categories, and Radio magazine readers cast their vote for the top product in each category during August 2008. The results were tallied in early September.
This year, ENCO Systems earned one of the coveted ART Awards for RAMA, a Remotely AdministeredMetadata Appliance designed for radio stations and networks to provide ancillary data to HD Radio, RDSand station web sites which also won a Pick Hit award at NAB Show 2008 in Las Vegas from the Radio magazine editors. Also recognized was ENCO’s flagship product, DAD, noted as Best Audio Storage andPlayback System.

To be eligible, the products had to have been available for use (not just announced) by July 2008.Nominations were submitted by Radio magazine readers, contributors and manufacturers. The winning products will be profiled in the October issue of Radio magazine.
