NAB 2014, Booth C1307 – ENCO announced several updates to the company’s DAD automation system at NAB, and introduced automation packages for LPFM stations and web streamers.
Thousands of DAD automation systems have been installed over the years across six continents. Offering a complete playout solution for Radio and Television, DAD handles audio delivery options ranging from full automation to manual live on-air operation. Included and optional modules allow customization of the system for a station’s precise needs.
At NAB 2014, ENCO announced a suite of updates including browser-based remote voice tracking; temperature and weather announcement modules; automatic playlist creation tools with e-mail confirmations; enhanced MusicMaster integration and user interface enhancements. ENCO also announced support for Lawo mixing consoles, Ravenna IP audio and LDR Interactive’s Listener DrivenRadio.
New radio automation packages for web streaming and LPFM were also introduced at NAB, with a live web station demonstrated at the booth. “We’re excited about these packages that bring the power of DAD to small operations,” said Ken Frommert, ENCO General Manager. “We have streaming service plus DAD automation, and customized apps for each user, starting at only $100 per month. With webstreaming becoming more sophisticated all the time, our automation packages will prove very useful to these operators.”
