The owners and proprietors of Dash Radio had a big vision: Turn a fledgling single-station internet app into a multichannel, ad-free streaming radio network with wide variety, traditional radio curation and world-class talent. The concept itself was certainly possible, but the technology costs to support their vision seemed an impossible hurdle – especially on the automation side. Enter ENCO and its DAD automation platform. Using the latest operational toolsets and bandwidth efficiency of DAD Version 15, Dash Radio discovered a highly flexible and scalable platform to support multiple stations from a single machine. The service launched 50 stations within three months, and quickly scaled to 65. Meanwhile, internationally recognized talent like Snoop Dogg curate shows worldwide using ENCO’s remote voice tracking software; and automated file transfer capabilities streamline content management across the many channels.
